Why is my dog throwing up and acting lethargic in her crate?

It sounds as Bailey is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.

It sounds like Princess is unwell. She could have a GI illness, may have eaten something rotten, a foreign body, or pancreatitis. I see that she is unspayed, and an infection of the uterus called a pyometra occurs in unspayed dogs and causes these symptoms. For now, I recommend monitoring her. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, and then feed her boiled white meat chicken and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. If she keeps that down, you can slowly add back in her normal diet. Monitor her closely for signs of a pyometra, such as more vomiting, her belly becoming swelling, extreme lethargy, and discharge from her vagina. You can also take her temperature to monitor for fever, which would be above 102.5F. If you see any of those signs I mentioned above, take her into a vet immediately. In addition, if the vomiting continues in the absence of food, she vomiting the bland diet, she develops diarrhea, she stops drinking water and start vomiting water, or she becomes very lethargic, take her into your vet right away.

The lethargy, shaking or trembling, being withdrawn, and hanging her head down certainly can indicate that she is in pain or discomfort somewhere. Not eating or drinking can also by a sign of pain or that there is a problem with her intestinal tract or other systems in her body. All of these signs do not point to one specific problem, however, they do tell us that Chloe is definitely ill. A good physical exam and most likely some tests from Chloe's veterinarian will help sort out the problem for her and hopefully get her feeling better soon. Best of luck to Chloe!

He should be examined by a vet to determine the cause, especially if he is lethargic. He could have an infection, parasite, pancreatitis, kidney disease, liver disease, endocrine disease, obstruction/foreign body. Your vet can run labwork and take xrays to help diagnose and prescibe medications to treat. He may need fluids to prevent dehydration and medications to control the vomiting.

This is a spontaneous inflammation of the pancreas that causes pain when palpating the belly, vomiting, decreased appetite, lethargy and often loose stool with some blood. I would highly recommend taking her in to your local vet right away for testing and treatment. The vet will need to run bloodwork and a pancreatitis test. Other possible causes are a musculoskeletal injury, kidney infection or liver problem. Poor girl. I would take her in as soon as possible so that we know how to move forward and get herbfeeling better quickly. It’s best to feed her small portions of boiled plain chicken and rice or cottage cheese since smaller portions typically don’t cause as much nausea. It could be Chloe has a severe stomach illness, may have eaten something rotten,could have a foreign body, or pancreatitis. It's very concerning that she has been vomiting and not eating for the past 24 hours. I'd have her seen by a vet now to have this diagnosed and treated. I hope this helps!
