Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | spayed | 1 year and 4 months old | 90 lbs
Hi, my dog just threw up a peach pit. I didn't she ate this until she just threw it up! Is this going to be a serious problem. She was eating well & doing well otherwise! Please help!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Good thing is that she threw it up. The issue is not knowing how much she could have eaten and if there is more left. I recommend that you monitor her very closely for symptoms consistent with foreign body ingestion and obstruction such as vomiting, inappetence, abdominal pain and lethargy. If any of those are observed, have her evaluated by your veterinarian to make sure that she did not ingest more. Otherwise, she is likely to be just fine. Good luck!

I am sorry to hear about Kyya! Hopefully this was all she got into and her body has taken care of getting it out! Many dogs would have this occur without any complications, but continue to monitor her for the next couple days for additional vomiting, decreased appetite, lethargy, abdominal pain, or straining to have a bowel movement and consult your veterinarian is these symptoms develop.
