My 13 lb dog swallowed a plum pit a few nights ago. She is pooping and acting fine, but I think she may have thrown up a little today while we were gone. Should I be concerned?

The problem with plum pits is that can cause an obstruction in the GI tract. In addition, the pit also contains cyanide. Luna needs to see a vet now to get this pit out of her stomach. Do NOT induce vomiting at home, it's not safe. Please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.
