My husky's paw pad is swollen and pink after boarding. What to do?

Pet's info: Dog | Husky | Female | spayed | 5 years and 10 months old | 35 lbs

Hello, My husky returned from boarding with pink swelling on one of her paw pads and I'm not sure what to do. I'd like to avoid an expensive vet trip is possible. See attached for pictures - thanks!

It does look swollen and irritated. You could soak her paw in a warm Epsom salt solution for 5 minutes for a few days and see if that helps. If not, she needs to be examined and treated by a vet. She may need an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory .
