My dog's head is swollen and painful between ears. Why is it moving?

Usually, face swelling is not a commonly encountered sign of an ear infection so if his face continues to get swollen before tomorrow when you can have him evaluated by your veterinarian, consider having him evaluated tonight to make sure it is not something more concerning than an ear infection. That doesn't sound good, and it tells me that Sadie is painful if she won't let you touch her ears and is snapping. It could be she has a dental problem, is experiencing an allergic reaction, and has an ear infection. I'd take her into a vet asap to get this diagnosed and treated.

Hello. I am sorry that Jeo isn't feeling well. Tilting the head to the side can be due to pain, an inner ear infection, or a problem within the brain. I think most likely with Leo this would be due to the ear either being painful, or an inner ear infection. The red eye could be due to a bit of trauma, or an insect bite. This could also have caused the swelling of the ear. Either way it sounds like he is in pain, so I would recommend having him to a vet. They can then determine if he needs other medications, and will look in his ear to see if he needs antibiotics. Good luck with Jeo.

It sounds like there are a couple of things wrong with Brownie at the moment. The swelling of his ear could be caused by an ear infection, and that could affect his hearing preventing him from responding to your call the other day. The scratching could be due to an ear infection, but it could also be caused by fleas, allergies, ringworm, or mites. With these number of symptoms, I'd recommend a vet visit first thing Monday.
