My dog swallowed a pill. Was it warfarin or Synulox? Is he in danger?

The toxic dose for aspirin is generally from 100mg/kg. Max ingested about 55mg/kg (he weights about 9kg and he ingested 500mg; 500/9=55,55). This dose seems to be very low and will not cause any toxicity.

Apixaban increases the risk of hemorrhage and can cause serious, potentially fatal, bleeding. In scientific tests they gave dogs up to 1500mg/kg without ill effect other than bleeding. It is unlikely that Coohie will have any untoward effect with this medication provided he will not have surgery within the next 7d nor any injuries. Should he need blood taken at the vet during this time please postpone the appointment. Otherwise you should not have to worry.

Duke is 80lbs, so about 36.4kg. He ingested 0.55mg/kg of Lexapro. With doses as low as 0.3mg/kg, you can see incoordination and lethargy, although there is typically no toxic damage to organs. To be safe, if Duke ate the Lexapro within the past 2 hours, I would take him to your vet now to induce vomiting. If it's been longer than 2 hours, you will have to monitor him for signs of toxicity (tremors, incoordination, seizures, lethargy), and if you see any of those signs, take him to a vet right away.

Havoc should be absolutely fine after ingesting the Proin tablet! He ingested approximately 4.4 mg/kg (milligrams per kilogram of body weight), and more serious signs of toxicity usually occur with doses over 15 mg/kg. There is a chance that Havoc may experience agitation, vomiting, decreased heart rate or elevated blood pressure. While these signs generally resolve within 24 hours of ingestion, it would be ideal to take Havoc to his vet for an exam and blood pressure measurement. I hope this helps!

It really depends on which contraceptive he ingested and your pets weight. Typically most of the contraceptives are not toxic with just 1 pill; however I recommend you call ASPCA Pet poison control hotline @ (888) 426-4435. You may see a bout of diarrhea but this is typically the extent o the adverse effects seen. If anything changes within the next 24 hrs your pet should be seen by a veterinarian.
