My dog swallowed a small screw. Should I worry about it getting stuck?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 6 months old

Screw that we have on backside of our laptops that is small one of ingested or swallow by dog so can that be stuck inside ? It's very small screw you can check one on your laptop also below where we screw harddisk

If the screw is very small and your dog is pretty big (which I assume he is since he's a German Shepherd) it probably will not be a problem. Keep an eye on Bruno for any vomiting or diarrhea. If you notice these symptoms it would be wise to take him to a vet to have an x-ray performed and make sure the gut is ok. If he's acting normal and eating like normal just keep an eye on his poops to see if he passes the screw.

    Hello and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Yes, I think you should go to your veterinarian and have Bruno X-rayed as a screw can get caught in the intestines or esophagus and could potential cause a puncture of the GI tract.
