My dog swallowed a 3cm silicone milk cap. Should he see a vet?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 4 years old

Good evening. My dog swallowed the thing you close the milk with. It’s made out of silicon and from side to side it is 3 cm. Will he poop it out or should I take him to the vet?

It's hard to say if it will pass safely or not. Round objects could cause issues. If it was recent, I would recommend taking Maci in to an emergency vet to safely attempt to induce vomiting. If it comes up, no worries!
