First off, I'm so very sorry you lost Rudis suddenly. Please accept my condolences for your loss. There could be a number of things causing his sudden death such as exposure to toxins, cancer, liver failure, heart disease, or even the bone if it caused an obstruction. Without seeing him in person, I can't say for certain. You can ask your parents to take him into the vet for a necropsy (an autopsy for animals). This may give you some answers. Again, I'm sorry for your loss.
