My dog's eyes have become very cloudy overnight, he tends to squint a lot or keep his eyes closed and has a slower reaction to visual things.

If you can get to another vet more quickly, or even an emergency vet that would be best. Clouding of the eye may be due to an infection, illness or injury and waiting to have it treated could lead to a worsening of symptoms or even loss of the eye. Attempting to treat at home may worsen the problem or cause excessive irritation. It is best to seek veterinary care ASAP.

Poor Milo. It sounds like his eye is quite painful if he screams when you touch it. Any eye problem needs to be checked out by a vet promptly as leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. I'd take him into a vet immediately to get his eye treated. Best of luck.
