My dog has been eating fine but has been struggling to poop the last few weeks. Some poops are normal, while other are red/brown soft mush. Does he have an infection. Is there medicine I can give him?

I'm sorry to hear Toby is having some GI issues. Is the did he is on a puppy specific food? If it isn't, I would recommend a puppy specific diet. I would also recommend he have a fecal screening to ensure he doesn't have any intestinal parasites contributing to his issue. Occasionally, grain free diets can be too protein dense for certain dogs to tolerate well and a switch to a different diet may be beneficial. I would feed a bland diet for the next couple of days, and then consider switching his diet long-term. If he starts vomiting regularly or acting lethargic, I would have him seen by his regular veterinarian. Good luck!
