Why does my young, active dog get so sore after playing hard?

If he is eating and drinking normally, and just tired, he is likely just still worn out and sore. It could just be you are doing too much with Kitty, and she is tired and taking a break. Gradually increasing activity can help, as well as providing plenty of breaks.
