My dog is sneezing with warm nose/ear, eating. Could it be allergies?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Schnauzer | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 4 months old

It has been a couple of days that my dog has been sneezing periodically. Just recently his nose has gotten warm along with his ear. Could he be sick? His appetite hasn't changed

Periodic sneezing can just be a sign of allergic rhinitis, especially if he is otherwise eating well and behavior hasn't changed. Contact your vet to see if there are some antihistamines that can be tried for now, then continue to monitor him to see if the sneezing improves over the next few days. If he does develop any nasal discharge or eye discharge at any point, then a vet visit is definitely recommended.
I hope that Diego feels better soon! Best wishes and take care.
