Updated on September 23rd, 2025

My Westie has little bumps/lumps, only a few of them they’re very small almost look like teats, they’re on his neck side and rear and chest, he’s had them a while and it doesn’t look like they’re getting bigger, any suggestions

These do appear to be possible benign sebaceous cyst type tumors, which are typically non-cancerous. However, I would suggest getting One tested by your vet just to be sure that these are nothing to worry about. I hope everything works out well for your pet Monty. Best wishes and take care.

Hello, thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

These bumps are basically benign cysts that are very common in small breed dogs although any dog can get them. I would not be worried and just have your vet check them out at Marie's next check-up.

    Hope this helps. Best wishes.
