Why are my dog's skin growths near paws and legs turning black?

Skin tags may be benign or malignant. You would need to have Conner physically examined by your veterinarian for a definitive diagnosis. A fine needle aspirate can be done in the clinic to collect samples for pathology. Alternatively, a punch biopsy can be done under a local anesthetic to remove the tag completely. It can then be sent out for analysis. Until then monitor it for rapid change or growth. See your veterinarian if it causes discomfort or restricts movement.

Actually Sarge has two masses growing on his leg, the big one attached to his paw and the other is near the stifle. Apparently both masses are bothering him now as he is licking and chewing on the masses. This will need to be examined by a vet as these are likely tumors that may be benign but also malign. The mass on the foot will likely need to be removed, if only to avoid it getting infected or injured. The lesion on it may be from licking but could also be from growing and the skin not being able to expand any further. I suggest you make an appointment with your veterinarian for an exam and a biopsy (usually a fine needle aspirate) which will aid in determining whether these masses are concerning.

It looks like the accessory carpal pad as it is colored like the other foot pads. Does he have one on the right front leg too? If so, that is normal, all dogs have those. If there is not one on the other side then you need to take him to the vet for an exam so they can tell you if it's skin tag or a tumor of some kind. It does not look like a skin tag to me. In your second picture it does look like Val might have a skin growth that could be a papilloma or wart, or might be something like an adenoma. I doubt that is the ultimate cause of her signs since both legs are affected. Her toes look red and I'd be suspicious of a secondary bacterial or fungal infection. Mites are possible and would show up on a skin scrape. Allergies might also be triggering these recurrent infections. I wouldn't recommend any home treatments especially since this is recurrent - I'd recommend talking to your vet to see what they would recommend as the next step.

Without seeing it in person it is hard to know for sure what the growth is. It is not likely a wart. Warts are caused by viruses and often seen in the mouth of dogs. This may very well be a benign skin tag/growth, but with any lump an evaluation by your veterinarian at your earliest convenience is recommended. They may take a small needle sample and look at the cells under the microscope to get more info and make sure it is nothing to worry about. They can also discuss options for removal if it is growing or if it is bothering pogi.

I'm glad to hear that this lesion isn't bothering Benji! It's certainly possible that this lesion is a benign papilloma-like lesion, but it could also be another benign or malignant type of mass. The only way to know for sure is to perform a biopsy of the lesion for pathologist evaluation, or at the very least, your vet could draw a few cells out with a needle for microscopic evaluation (fine needle aspiration). The tricky part with lumps and bumps on legs is that they're more difficult to remove if they grow because there is less extra skin that can be used to close surgically. For this reason in particular, I recommend taking Benji to your vet sooner rather than later to have this lesion examined in person. Even though he isn't bothered by the lesion when you touch it, I do recommend putting an e-collar (cone) on him until his appointment because the lesion looks a bit red and weepy. Those are unusual lesions on Nella! I am not entirely sure what they could be, but skin infection with bacteria or fungus can cause circular lesions on the skin. I would have her examined by your vet, they may want to do a few tests on the lesions to determine what is causing them and a good method for treatment. They may recommend both oral medications and potentially topicals or a special bath.
