My dog has a skin bump with a hole and yellow discharge. What is it?

It seems to be a skin cyst of some sort. It's very difficult for me to know without seeing it. Based on your description, you are likely seeing sebaceous cysts, comedones or possibly a wart. Either way, the actual cyst is not a big problem, but it could indicate another issue. Some conditions can cause an increased incidence of these cysts, so it's best to have your vet check out Demon and see if there is any need for concern. Also, I do not recommend squeezing the cysts, because you can sometimes cause inflammation and in-turn infection to the area. I hope that helps and all is well with Demon.

Although I can't tell for sure, it is possible that Busta has a ruptured cyst. Cysts often contain thick yellow material that can rupture out when the cyst becomes too full for becomes traumatized. They often don't heal well as the tissue is abnormal and often become infected because dogs will lick or chew at them. I would recommend that you have him seen by your veterinarian. He may need antibiotics or to have the cyst removed.

This looks like a skin mass or tumor. Sometimes a benign growth or cyst can have some material inside that you can squeeze out like this. Unfortunately it also could be a malignant mass. I would recommend having your vet take a look - they may want to take a sample using a small needle to help determine what it is.

A small area like this could be inflammation as a result of an insect bite or wound, inflammation as a result of bacterial infection (though usually we would see more then just one lump) or a growth/tumor of the skin (we can have benign growths that don't cause any health concerns or growths that are malignant and require removal). Unfortunately without an exam and a sample (taken with a needle most often ) we can't tell you for certain the cause. If it isn't bothering your dog I would continue to monitor it daily. It is from an insect bite or wound it should resolve over the next couple weeks. If it is still there in a month or is increasing in size or changing appearance then a vet visit to investigate the area further is warranted.

This looks like a typica skin wart/skin tumor or cyst. Since it has been present for so long and has not grown at all, it is probably benign (non cancerous). It looks as if the area has been irritated somehow, probably by your dog scratching at it, and is now bleeding and may be infected. Or, if it is a cyst, the white material may just be cystic exudate. I would recommend cleaning the area with some dilute hydrogen peroxide then applying some antibiotic ointment to help prevent infection and to help it heal more quickly. Things like this can be an enlarged pore that has accumulated a wax ball or sometimes a cyst that has dried up and the body has blocked off. Generally these pets will be fine. Wash the area gently with soap and rinse it well. Gently pat it dry. Make sure Stella does not lick at it as this can make it inflamed and prone to infection. Look at it daily for any signs of redness, swelling or discharge. If these are seen, take her to the veterinarian. Generally these lesions will fill in and don’t require you to apply any treatment. The area in the picture looks like an area of what I would call excoriation or skin irritation usually seen when a dog scratches an area extensively due to itching. The yellowish area can be a pimple or what we call a pustule (a pimple containing pus). Pimples and pustules are usually raised lesions, extending up from the skin. It's a little difficult making out much detail in the picture. Sometimes damaged areas of skin turn yellowish like that and are usually flat in appearance, not raised up like a pimple/pustule.
