Why is my dog shaking, weak, eyes dilated, and passing green watery stool?

Poor girl. These symptoms are highly suggestive of a toxin or drug intoxication. If this has been going on for more than 15-20 minutes duration, then I would highly recommend taking Bella Rose in to your local vet for a proper exam, diagnostic testing to hopefully pinpoint the problem, and treatment to help stabilize her condition. IF she did ingest a toxin, then the vet wil lhave to detox her quickly to help prevent any permanent damage on her organ systems, and also to prevent further absorption of the toxin in her gut. Another possible cause for these symptoms is a pyometra (spontaneous uterine infection). This can happen at any time in non-spayed female dogs and leads to septicemia which can cuase similar symptoms invvolved in a toxin ingestion. Tihs is also considered to be a serious condition and should be treated for as quicikly as possible by your vet. I hope that your fur baby Bella Rose is able to make a full and speedy recovery. This is very concerning as many of these signs point to a serious viral infection such as canine distemper. Please take Latte to your vet today. I hope it is not distemper, as this disease is not curable and very debilitating. It causes nerve damage and treatment is only supportive. Your dog could also have encephalitis/meningitis and this must be treated by a vet as well. Please take her to a vet today. Your vet will need to take blood and examine your dog.

It certainly sounds like Bella could have gotten into something toxic and it is a medical emergency. When a dog walks like they are drunk, that can be a sign of antifreeze ingestion. Depending on what she ate, she could diet without veterinary treatment and it is imperative that she is seen by a vet now. Please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. She is having persistent neurologic signs and there may be others that you cannot detect but that can be determined by an examination from a doctor. These are all important findings to determine the origin of this problem. I know that you mention toxin is not possibly but we commonly see pets that have ingested a toxin that was unknown to the owner. Oh my, poor Emma sounds quite ill! She could have gotten into something toxic, may have eaten something rotten, or could have a severe GI illness among other causes. Given that she is very lethargic and cold, she needs to see a vet immediately for treatment. The vet can diagnose what is causing her symptoms, and can treat her for them. Please take Bella into an ER vet or find a vet on call to see her now.

I am so sorry but it sounds like your pet is having a moderate vaccine reaction. I would highly recommend taking her to an ER vet right away to have your puppy Bella evaluated and treated for a vaccine reaction. They will likely do steroids and anthistamine injection to help stabilize her condition. I really hope that your fur baby Bella is able to make a full and speedy recovery. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Bella! How old is Bella? I would not want to to give her vaccines if she is vomiting after she eats. If she vomits EVERY TIME she eats then that is concerning. Causes for vomiting are: intestinal parasites, pyometra (infected uterus which is a surgical emergency), foreign body (something is stuck requiring surgery), dietary indiscretion (ate something gross that is upsetting her stomach), food allergy or intolerance, toxin ingestion, Kidney or liver problems, cancer. Without seeing pictures of her eyes it's hard to say what is going on. Red eyes can be from allergies or an infection but it also could be from glaucoma, a corneal ulcer, uveitis or even be from something internal going on. I highly recommend taking Bella to the Vet for an exam and to discuss all that is going on with her. I hope this helps and I wish Bella the very best!
