My dog shakes, has stiff abdomen, and pain when walking. What is it?

Those are all possible causes. In cases like this, we usually need to treat symptomatically. The normal treatments for pancreatitis would also treat enteritis. Beatrice would need an MRI to determine if she has a herniated disk, but she could be treated with pain medication (which she also needs for possible pancreatitis) in the mean time. I can't tell you which issue is the cause (or they are all a factor) from these images, but I share your vet's concern about all of them.

If Maggie is not showing any signs from gastrointestinal tract, like vomiting or diarrhea, blockage will be a very unlikely explanation of her discomfort. If she has difficulties to jump, or if she is refusing to jump at all, I would suspect that she has spinal pain (which may look very similar to abdominal pain) or pain in the hind legs (hips, knees). If she continues to be uncomfortable and not herself, I would recommend to see your local vets to find out what is going on and give her the right treatment. At the moment, I don't think there are any remedies that you can treat her at home with.

Poor Phoebe! Shaking like this is a common sign of pain in dogs, especially when there is no other obvious reason (such as fear or cold) for her to be doing this. Many dogs who have back pain due to a herniated disc or other problem act very much like this, so this would be my first suspicion based on your description. She could also be uncomfortable due to abdominal pain, or some other injury that is not visible from the outside. I would recommend taking her to the vet for an exam today if possible - he/she can do x-rays or other testing if needed to help determine the problem and get her started on appropriate treatment.

Her breed and what you describe are very typical of this. But other things such as infection or orgsn disease are possible. If the kyphosis is new, I would be concerned the symptoms are related. since Nutmeg is not responding to treatment, I recommend to preform further diagnostics. Based upon your description, I would be concerned Nutmeg has abdominal pain, spinal pain or perhaps pressure on her internal organs. Top differentials include: pancreatitis hepatitis (many potential causes) foreign object in gastrointestinal tract intervertebral disc disease or injury internal abscess fluid in abdomen tumor/cancer in abdomen Some potential diagnostics including imaging (ultrasound would be preferred over x-rays), bloodwork and a blood test specifically for the pancreatic enzymes like a CPL. Since Beki is exhibiting a variety of symptoms (not eating and walking abnormally) I would recommend you take her to the veterinarian to be checked out. She could be suffering from back/spinal pain or abdominal pain from something like pancreatitis. A physical examination by your veterinarian will help determine the cause of her discomfort.
