So my dog has just recently been tucking her tail in, and shaking very badly. When I pick her up, she has a more stiff back than usual. I will cover her in a blanket and after a while she finally stops shaking. But then once I put her down, she starts shaking again. She will stop in random places and just lay down, when she usually would only lay on a blanket or someplace warm. Now she will lay down in the middle of the kitchen for no reason. And when she stands, she won't move if you call her.

I am so sorry that Marly seems so sick! You
Must be very worried. By what you describe I start thinking about the possibility of a back problem such as a slipped disk, or perhaps something going on in her brain such as encephalitis. I would highly encourage you to have her evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible. After a thorough physical examination they should have more of an idea about what may be wrong and some recommendations for you. Best of luck and I hope you are able to get her more comfortable soon! Thank you for using Pet Coach.
