Why is my dog suddenly acting strange, shaking, and having accidents?

I'm not sure how old Daisy is, but she could be suffering from arthritis, may have degenerative joint disease, or could have injured herself. It is concerning that she is having trouble walking, and that indicates she could be in a lot of pain. Given those symptoms, I feel it's best to have her seen by a vet today. The vet can diagnose what is causing her trouble walking, and can treat it while also giving her some pain medications. Please do not give Daisy any human pain medications, as many are toxic to dogs and can be fatal if given.

She could be acting like that from perhaps severe dehydration and hypovolemia (lack of volume in her circulatory system) from so much diarrhea and recent history of anorexia and not drinking water. She could have also being exposed to some toxin that is affecting both her gastrointestinal and neurologic systems. I highly recommend you take her to a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible. Good luck!

I recommend to have her examined by the veterinarian who will check for evidence of pain on the physical exam. They may also check a urine sample or the anal glands as well. This is a very good question, and can sometimes be a sign of discomfort/ pain or anxiety. If it continues, or if you notice any changes in Daisy's appetite, energy, urination, defecation, I recommend having her seen by a veterinarian to help rule out any discomfort .

I would recommend that Blaiser be examined by a vet. The symptoms you have mentioned could certainly be behavioral (sudden accidents in the house, only eating when you are near), but the wobbly appearance could indicate an internal medical illness, cancer, or neurologic disease. After a thorough physical exam, the vet may perform a neurologic exam to pick up on any subtle neurologic deficiencies. The vet may also recommend bloodwork to look for anemia, infection, liver or kidney disease, or electrolyte imbalances, all of which could cause symptoms such as you have described.
