Why is my dog restless, constantly changing her sleeping spot?

Aww, I’m sorry to hear about Daisy! I see this commonly with either pain or anxiety. These little guys can easily injure their backs and legs which can cause changes in behavior and the way they stand- as well as shaking. You may also notice Daisy avoiding the dog door or refusing to jump on beds/couches as she normally does. I recommend taking her in for a good physical exam to see if this might be the case. If only Cookie could talk! It’s impossible to know if this related to pain or anxiety. I recommend to play it safe and have Cookie examined by her veterinarian today. Make sure they check her neck, spine and anal glands. The doctor may also want to check her for a urinary tract infection as well. It’s best to play it safe.

Poor Gracie. She may be in pain or not feeling well. Keep an eye on her, and if she's still acting this way in the morning, have her seen by a vet. If she develops signs such as vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, or a bloated abdomen, take her into an ER vet immediately. Best of luck.

Gastric upset, or gastroenteritis, can be caused by many different things including toxins, raw meat, bones, bacterial infections, viral infections, or simply a food that doesn't agree with the body. Other possible causes include IBD, food allergies, and cancers in the gut. If she has a bit of diarrhea and GI upset, but is otherwise normal, eating/drinking well, and has good energy, then she likely just ate something that upset her stomach. I recommend that you feed her a bland diet of boiled/boneless/skinless chicken breast and boiled rice, in small frequent meals for the next 3 days. After this re-introduce a good quality kibble. If the diarrhea gets bloody, she stops eating, is vomiting, or weak and lethargic, then bring her to the vet for bloodwork and x-rays. Best of luck with Daisy! I hope she feels better soon!

I recommend to have Rosie examined by the veterinarian to rule out pain from a back or neck issue, an anal gland issue or a bladder infection. Dementia can also cause restlessness at night. Since she can't talk and tell you why this is happening, play it safe with an exam. I hope this helps.
