What paints are safe for dogs to use for paw print art projects?

As long as it is a water based paint and you have washed the area of thoroughly I don't suspect that there will be any problem. Certainly you should make any attempt to prevent her from trying to lick the area in the meantime in case anything residual that could be on there. You might consider either obtaining an ecollar from a vet or pet store or watching a YouTube video on how to make a homemade one. Without seeing the ingredients on the paint I can't be one hundred percent sure that it is completely non-harmful. You could consider calling the pet poison helpline if you are becoming concerned about any possible ingestion then they will be able to go over the possible effects of the substance that is being eaten. Dogs can bring soil, bacteria and parasites from the outside so cleaning his paws at least would be a great idea to prevent any harm to the baby. Have a good night!

You aren't a terrible person! We all make mistakes :-) I would make sure to wash Tim's foot thoroughly with dawn dish soap and warm water to get any trace of the paint stripper off his foot. You do not want him ingesting it by licking at his food. Get his foot a long soak and a full scrub to make sure all of the paint stripper is gone.

Some types of paint can be toxic to dogs, so I recommend you try to wash the paint off with mild liquid dish soap or shampoo for dogs, and if that doesn't work, carefully trim off the paint-covered fur, taking care not to cut the skin. I do not recommend you use any paint thinner/ remover on Junior Taz, as some of those are toxic as well. Hi, I'm happy you're thinking about the safety of Ringo. I recommend choosing a paint brand that has low VOCs or no VOCs - these are paints that don't give off dangerous fumes. Also open windows and doors, and use a fan to ventilate while you work and for a couple of days afterwards until the new paint odor is gone. You may need to remove and repaint interior doors and cupboard doors outside if the gloss paint has a strong odor.

Hi. Sounds like it is freezing!! That's great that you are protecting Brody's feet. Yes, this is safe, but I'm not sure it helps with warmth. But yes, safe if he links his feet. You can also wipe his feet with a warm moist washcloth in between as well to help discourage linking and contact. Good luck. Stay warm
