Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | spayed
Hey I just gave my German sheperd a wash, and i noticed this on her back in her coat. She only has one. And she is not in any discomfort. When combing her it appears to have torn however I'm not sure what it is. Yellow ball like puss came out? Thought I would ask on here as my vet is not open until tomorrow. Is there anything I can do for her?

These are typically what we call sebaceous cysts and commonly open up when caught on a comb during grooming. There is nothing you can do to reduce the occurrence of these cysts. They will start to show up in middle to older aged animals. If you want to avoid these opening up during grooming, then I would speak with a veterinarian about having these surgically removed.
