My dog has roundworm diarrhea. Can I give Pepcid or Imodium?

I recommend to call your vet. Most vets are happy to discuss the logic behind treatments. Panacur is used to get rid of certain worms and protozoal parasites like gairdia at certain doses. It is beneficial however to know if parasites are present because some of them can spread to humans or remain o source of infection in the yard. Your vet will likely not have an objection to testing Clif for worms or giardia. You will need to test him however before giving the medication. Imodium can safely be tried only if a bacterial and parasitic infection has been ruled out or treated for simultaneously. It is possible they are all having an adverse reaction to the dewormer you used. In which case getting them with an antibiotic and probiotic would benefit them more than just the Imodium. I would consider taking 1 puppy out of the litter to the vet to get them tested for any remaining intestinal parasites, and then the recommended treatment above should be considered. In the meantime I would recommend feeding them all a bland diet of boiled plain chicken and rice or cottage cheese to help settle their stomachs. If Peggy has a large worm burden (lots of worms) then she likely feels sick and doesn't want to eat, and likely won't want to eat until the worms are gone. If the medication that your vet gave is a dewormer (typically a liquid called Panacur/Fenbendazole), then you can give it without food. This might clear out the worms and get Peggy eating again. If the medication is an antibiotic (Metronidazole, Amoxyclav), then this needs to be given with food. You can also talk to your vet about trying an anti-nausea medication to see if this helps with the appetite. If Peggy has abdominal pain, or is vomiting, please have her seen right away as high worm burdens can lead to a very life-threatening condition called intussusception. It sounds like Odin has a very heavy infestion of worms, and you can get him an OTC deworming treatment for it. I recommend Panacur. In the meantime, try to tempt him to eat by soaking his puppy food in gently warmed low sodium beef or chicken broth, or offering him small amounts of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice. Should he refuse to eat this and continues not to drink, then it becomes a medical emergency, and you will need to find a vet on call to see him right away.
