Why does my dog have red spots on her shaved belly after grooming?

Poor girl, that doesn't look very comfortable. I'd recommend wiping the areas of with hydrogen peroxide once (avoiding the incision for her spay), and then putting her in a baby onsie (maybe two) in addition to an e-collar. The onsie is to protect her a skin if she tries to scratch. If it's looking worse instead of better after 24 hours, I'd recommend taking her back to the vet to see if she need antibiotics. Itching or licking damages skin, which allows normal bacteria on the surface to set up a mild infection, and sometimes the immune system can clear it up if the itching stops, but sometimes oral or topical medications are required.

First of all, in order to rule out skin parasites, you will need to treat with a high quality flea treatment, then ask the vet to perform a skin scrape - this might reveal an infection or a mite infestation. If all of those came back negative, the next step is to treat the allergy symptomatically and try to discover the cause of the allergy. Three main type of allergies are usually affecting pets: food allergies, flea and parasite related ones and environmental type (allergens coming from trees, pollens, dust etc etc). Some medications can be given by the vet in order to repair any possible skin lesions (like steroids and antibiotics). This would appear to be localized skin infection. You would need to have Betty examined by your veterinarian for confirmation. Infection can be treated systemically with oral antibiotics and/or topically with shampoos. Place an e-collar (cone) on her to prevent further licking until she sees the doctor.

It looks like Frida has a bacterial skin infection which could be secondary to allergies. You could bathe her with a medicated dog shampoo, like Epi-Soothe, and see if that helps. Otherwise, she should be examined by your vet for treatment. She might need an antibiotic, anti-histamine, and/or a corticosteroid to help treat. Hope she gets better soon!
