Dog has red spots on belly after park walk. What should I do?

Those spots on Bella could be several things including allergies, skin mites, flea bites, ringworm (which humans can get) or a bacterial infection. You can try adding in an omega 3 fatty acid supplement for dogs, this can help improve the skin health. You may also try changing her diet to something like Royal Canin or Nutro as they are aimed at skin health. The best option is to have Bella examined since the rash is bothering her. This will figure out the cause the fastest and bring her relief sooner. If you cannot get to the veterinarian's office, you can wash the lesions with soap once a day and rinse well (don't wash her whole body, just those spots). Protect the areas from licking or scratching with an elizabethan collar. If they don't start looking better within about a week or if they get worse, have her examined by his veterinarian who may prescribe medications. It looks like Frida has a bacterial skin infection which could be secondary to allergies. You could bathe her with a medicated dog shampoo, like Epi-Soothe, and see if that helps. This may be an allergic reaction to something he came in contact with outside. A bath in baby shampoo can be helpful to clean his skin and coat. If he starts itching you can try benadryl. If there sores continue or spread then he will need to be checked by your vet for prescription medicaiton

Take a cup of oatmeal, and put it into a blender to make a fine powder. Then add it to a warm bath, and put her in it. That may help temporarily soothe her skin. Belle may have a skin infection (bacterial or fungal) or it could be a result of insect bites. Check her over for fleas or evidence of flea dirt and consider treating her for fleas just to be sure.
