This is likely to be due to a folliculitis secondary to superficial bacterial infection of the skin.A check up, appropriate disinfection and possibly antibiotics (oral, topical or in a shampoo formulation) are needed to solve the problem. These can be caused by a bacteria infection of the hair follicles (bacterial folliculitis), autoimmune diseases, a bacterial skin infection ([pyoderma](https://www.petcoach.co/article/staphylococcal-pyoderma-a-common-skin-infection-in-dogs-pup/)), a fungal skin infection among others. I would recommend taking Sadie to the vet to determine the cause of the pustules, and to prescribe the proper treatment. In the meantime, do not squeeze them or try to pop them, as you could potentially spread infection. Those look like they could be some sort of allergic reaction ongoing, and if it is spreading it would be best to have a sample taken from a vet so that it could be sent to a lab for testing if the cause isn't apparent upon examination and to rule out issues such as growths, tumors, metabolic illnesses, etc. Keeping the area clean and dry and placing an Elizabethan (cone) collar on Rose may also help reduce additional irritation. If Rose is aggressive or uncomfortable at the vet, you may also want to see if your vet can either prescribe a sedative to give prior to arriving which may make things a little less stressful for her, or see if housecall services are an option on your area. Sometimes, just being at home can help a dog stay more calm and less stressed out while receiving veterinary care.

Anytime a new mass is noticed, I always recommend having it evaluated to see what it is and if anything needs to be done about it. Unfortunately, we often can't tell anything about a mass by just looking at it. Your vet can perform a simple test called a fine needle aspirate where they use a small needle to collect some cells from the mass, then look at them under the microscope. They may even need to send the cells to the lab for a pathologist to examine them, so we know what the mass is. If it is benign, you might not need to do anything about the mass at all, but if they see cells that worry them, they might recommend removing the mass. It looks like it's right in the location where his canine tooth rubs on his lip, and if this tooth is new, some irritation may be happening here. It could also be an insect bite, skin parasite, or a localized infection. If it doesn't clear up, gets worse, or appears to be causing Brody any discomfort, I suggest having a vet take a look at it. In the meantime, you can try keeping it clean with a dilute soap and water solution, but Brody may not like it! I wouldn't bother applying any topical ointments to it as he'll likely just lick it right off. Good luck, and I hope Brody's little lip irritation goes away soon!
