My dog's pyoderma is back. Can I order his meds online without a vet?

Unfortunately in order to prescribe medication we are legally required to have examined the animal to establish a “vet-client-patient relationship” so we cannot call in prescriptions with online consults. You will need to touch base with your regular vet to get Kylo’s medication.

You cannot get a prescription online. If she does have an ear infection, she will have to see a vet to get it treated. The law requires a Veterinary Client Patient Relationship and to have this an in person examination of the pet is needed to prescribe medications. We are here to provide advice and support. Hello. It appears that Bruno has a pretty significant & chronic inflammatory reaction going on in his skin. I would suspect that this may require oral medications rather than topical ointments or creams, but knowing how long this might take to clear up really depends on the underlying cause. If he has a bacterial infection, treatment can last 6-8 weeks, a fungal infection, 2-4 months, & if this is due to an allergic reaction, unless you pursue a desensitization protocol, treatment is lifelong. It is best to have your veterinarian examine Bruno to determine the best course of action. If your vet is unable to help, ask for a referral to a veterinary dermatologist. I cannot legally recommend any medications without seeing Otis in person. If he has pyoderma, you need to have him seen by a vet to get medication prescribed. I'd take him into a vet today. Best of luck.

I would recommend using the below products which you can find online quite easily. As for the itching, these products should help but if it is very severe, you could discuss anti-itch medications with your veterinarian to help control the itch while you are treating the primary allergy.
