My dog has a purple growth on her back foot. What could it be?

My dog is a German Shepard and she grew a purple ball on her on her back foot and I dont know what it is

Luna could have a few different things going on. Without a picture it is hard to tell you exactly. Young dogs can get non cancerous growths called histiocytomas. These sometimes will go away with in a few months. If the growth does not go away I would take him to a veterinarian to have an aspirate taken. It is also possible a foreign body, infection or insect bite is possible.
