My dog took 22.5mg prednisone instead of 12.5mg. Is she okay?

Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | spayed | 5 years and 10 months old | 14 lbs

My dog laci had IMHA And she usually takes 12.5 mg of pred a day and I accidently have her 22.5 for today.

Hello, and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. That's a pretty high dose, but one single high dose is unlikely to cause a problem. You may notice Laci drink more water than usual, and she may have an increased appetite. I recommend reaching out to your vet when they open tomorrow since they know Laci's full history, but most likely they will have you continue her next dose on schedule.
