My dog's poop has a reddish pink round worm. What kind is it?

These could be roundworms which are obviously infesting the gastrointestinal system. A check up and appropriate medications are needed to confirm this clinical suspicion and resolve it effectively. Take a poo sample with you so your vet can identify the worms.

The rice should not have come out whole and undigested. What you were most likely seeing is tapeworm segments, which look very much like rice. If you can, bring a stool sample to the vet so they can analyze it. If it is tapeworm, you will be given a dewormer to use.

It sounds like it was a tapeworm. They are flat and segmented. The length depends on the segments that come out--they are offered compared to pieces of rice when individual. These worms are transmitted by the ingestion of a flea which can lead to a dull hair coat and dandruff also. It does not look like a worm but you should take a stool sample to your dog's vet and have it tested for parasites. That is the best way to know if she has any intestinal parasites that need to be treated.

Poor Scooby!! Flat white worms on the stool sounds like tapeworms. I would recommend taking a sample of the stool and worms to your vet; they can more positively identify the worms and also check the stool sample under the microscope to see if any other parasites are present. Tapeworm medication is not typically available over the counter, and usually requires a vet visit.
