My dog ate poison. How long until meds work and symptoms improve?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 4 months old

Update on Oso Amaya he went to the vet and it's not lethargy or parvo it turns out he may have ate something poisonous vet gave him meds he's up walking around but looks disoriented drinking lots of water still no appetite not much energy... If he's taking meds how long does it take to get out of his system will he be alright is he in pain.. not sure vet thinks it might of been a dead rat or rat poison

Unfortunately without knowing the toxin that was ingested nor the medication he was given, nor the results of the clinical exam, it is not possible to tell answer your question.
I am sorry this had to happen to your dog. You will have to wait it out now.
