My dog has a pink, bleeding lump on her leg. Is it a wart? What to do?

My dog has a wart like lump on her leg its pink with a blood spot in the middle of it, it has bled as ive seen two blood spots on her cover, its size is about half a centimetre, is this a wart and if so how does it get treated, she is a staffordshira bull terrier 1yr 2mths?

Please keep in mind that without seeing it in person or even a picture, I can't say if Luna has a wart or not. It certainly is possible that she does have a wart, but it could be another kind of benign tumor. I would have her seen by a vet for it. The vet can perform a test called a fine needle aspirate on it. To do this, the vet sticks a small needle into the lump to get a sample of it's cells, and examines the cells on a slide under a microscope. It's usually painless to the animal, and relatively quick to perform. If it is a wart, typically it doesn't need to be removed surgically unless it's bothering her. You can talk to the vet about if it needs to be removed or not. I hope this helps!

My dog has a lump on his front leg. Is it a wart or a skin tag?

Without seeing it in person it is hard to know for sure what the growth is. It is not likely a wart. Warts are caused by viruses and often seen in the mouth of dogs. This may very well be a benign skin tag/growth, but with any lump an evaluation by your veterinarian at your earliest convenience is recommended. They may take a small needle sample and look at the cells under the microscope to get more info and make sure it is nothing to worry about. They can also discuss options for removal if it is growing or if it is bothering pogi.

My senior dog has bleeding, oozing warts on her back. Is it serious?

The pictures look like benign warts, but It is always a good idea to have your vet examine any masses on M. In general, if a wart is bleeding it is worth considering removing it, so it would be worth discussing that with your vet as well. However, we often do not remove warts if they are not causing a problem. Any lumps/bumps that you notice on your dog should be checked out by your vet. Lumps can be any of these things: * abscess (infection) * cyst * cancer (benign or malignant) * wart There is no way I can tell you for sure what it is just based on your description or by looking at a photo but I have a suspicion that this may be a histiocytoma (benign tumor). My poodle has a black bleeding lump on its head. Is it serious?

It is very possible this is a small tumor, or even a wart that has bled. Warts are very common on poodles, as are a variety of benign, & occasionally, malignant tumors. I would have your veterinarian take a look t make sure this is not too serious. If it is a simple wart, it can be removed surgically, with laser, or even frozen with a wart-off type product. Or, you can just watch it. The problem with warts is you take one off, & another pops up elsewhere. So we usually just monitor them.
