My dog's penis is stuck out. Is it an emergency or an infection?

Hello there, my poor dog Chewy seems to have an infected penis and im looking for advice on what it may be... could you please help me? Here a picture Thank you so much!

The is not an infection, that is an emergency however. The penis must be returned to the protection of the prepuce or will eventually die off and require amputation. I recommend getting to an ER hospital tonight. In terms of at home remedies, you can try sterile lube and table sugar to try and reduce things. However, I believe at this point you may just want to leave things to the professionals.

    After that long if being it is a medical problem. He will need to see a vet Immediately for treatment which will involve sedation to try to replace it or surgery to help hold it in. In the mesntime keep it lubricates to prevent tbfrim drying out until he gets seen
