My male Yorkie's penis is bleeding and partially out. Is it serious?

If bosco continues to have blood regularly, has any trouble urinating , or is lethargic I would have him evaluated by a veterinarian.

A lot of times, it is accompanied by diarrhea. He will likely need an antibiotic to resolve the blood in the stool. The blood coming from his penis is less common. Has there been any blood in his urine? Is he straining to urinate? This can be a sign of a urinary tract infection or bladder stones. Other causes of blood from the urinary system are prostate disease or a mass or irritation on the penis itself. Is there any chance he was exposed to rat poison such as D-con?
