My dog pees inside. Is it her thyroid meds or anal gland issues?

This could be an anatomical anormality and in some cases it could be a neurological issue, among many other possibilities. Hornets syndrome can resolve on its own and the cause is not always identified. However it sounds like an ultrasound should be done next along with a UPC ratio to establish where the protein is coming from and to look inside the kidneys and bladder to check for growths or changes in thre architecture. They can also check for Cushings disease or other endocrine problems. It may be worth consulting with a specialist in your area since more advanced testing is needed

There is not a general over the counter medication you can give to help without knowing what is going on. It is hard to say exactly what may be causing her urination issue without examining her first, but I can offer a suggestion. Sometimes spayed females can have a relation of the urethral sphincter causing them to urinate uncontrollably. The good news is this is very common and a medication called Prion can be given to help tighten the urethral sphincter and lessen the amount of accidents in the house. It's possible she just got wrapped up in the moment of playing and then suddenly had the urge to urinate without bothering to ask to be let outside. Dogs sometimes exhibit odd behavior like this such as urinating on beds, couches, etc. I would advise just monitoring her for any signs that her urinary problems are returning. Sometimes urinary problems can be seen but the urinalysis is essentially normal, like in her repeat urinalysis. Watch for signs of increased thirst, increased urination, frequent urination, straining, and inappropriate urination. If these occur she may have a recurrence of the problem despite a fairly normal urinalysis. I hope this was an isolated incident and she doesn't relapse in her house training due to a urinary issue.
