My dog is peeing blood, vomiting, and not eating. What to do?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | neutered | 3 years and 1 month old | 15 lbs

I’m panicking. My dog has been urinating blood for almost a week. He was throwing up a lot at first but has since stopped because he has stopped eating his food.He spent most of the week outside only sleeping in the house when the sun goes down, but he is now staying in only going out to urinate and etc. He spends most of the day just laying up under me or my sister. We have had him since his birth 3 years ago. He just really seems like he is in pain, and I dont know what to do.

Kobe sounds extremely ill if he's been urinating blood for a week, was throwing up, and has stopped eating. He also sounds very lethargic if he's sleeping a lot. He has to see a vet immediately, he definitely needs veterinary care right away. There is nothing you can do for him at home. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.
