My dog is throwing up blood, not eating, and very lethargic. Help!

It sounds as Enzo is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet urgently as vomiting blood is a serious symptom, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

Kobe sounds extremely ill if he's been urinating blood for a week, was throwing up, and has stopped eating. He also sounds very lethargic if he's sleeping a lot. He has to see a vet immediately, he definitely needs veterinary care right away. There is nothing you can do for him at home. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. Loss of appetite and vomiting can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. I recommend that you have Layka evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. You can offer a bland diet which may help. This diet could be composed of rice, boiled chicken, ham, turkey, lean hamburgers or low fat cottage cheese. Unfortunately, the symptoms you describe are very concerning - repeated episodes of vomiting like this, especially with blood, are often a sign of a serious problem such as pancreatitis, an intestinal obstruction, a systemic illness like liver or kidney disease, or ingestion of something toxic. A curved back and acting very lethargic are signs of abdominal pain. I'm afraid this is not something that can be treated at home - he really needs to see a vet right away, as this may be a life-threatening problem. The vet can do blood work and x-rays to help determine what is causing the vomiting and get him started on appropriate treatment depending on what is found.

As a general approach, in case the cause is dietary related, I would suggest to withhold food for the next 8-12 hours and then start feeding with a bland diet based on boiled chicken and rice in small portion every 6 hours for the following 48hours. Then gradually reintroduce the normal diet over 5 days. I would definitively recommend a veterinary check up if the signs persist or you notice diarrhoea, more vomiting, lethargy or inappetence.
