My dog has not been eating as much as he used to lately. He pushes his food around with his nose and will eat some of it, but leaves most of it on the floor after pushing it out of his bowl. He also never used to have accidents, but every day for the past couple of days, he has pooped on the floor while I was at work. Do I need to take him to the vet? What could be wrong with him?

Have your vet take a look at him to make sure he is not experiencing pain. He could have back or neck pain and your vet can do an examination to check for pain and then prescribe an anti-inflammatory/pain medications to help. If your vet can't locate any pain than you could talk to him/her about trying an anti-anxiety medication, like Trazodone, to see if that helps. You could also try an Adaptil collar to help relieve any stress and anxiety.
