If the cut does not heal in the next 4-5 days or is worsening a check up would be required. This most certainly could be an infection, especially if it has been a week since the scratch and it looks like this. If it is bothering Tigre, she may be rubbing her nose on the floor making it much worse. I would recommend having this examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. She may need an oral and topical antibiotic for treatment. I would observe the lesion for oozing , infection , bleeding, excessive swelling, or even expanding. If none of this happens and it heals over the next week, then there is no need to take your kitty to the vet. Should the cut not heal, I would have your veterinarian examine it.
