Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male

I adopted my dog from one of my relative.. He is 1.5 year old now(healthy). Recently I gotta know that his previous owner vaccinated him against rabies only. We administer him with combined vaccines recently. When to give him the next shot of combined vaccines?

Congratulations on adding Chiku to your family! Most dogs should receive two rounds of vaccines 3 weeks apart. Rabies should be given once a year (though in some areas it can be given every 3 years). You need to speak with a local veterinarian and ask about vaccine protocols since they are most familiar with disease prevalence in your area. I hope this helps.
