Why is my dog's neck swollen again in the same spot? Is it cancer?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 5 months and 26 days old | 20 lbs

My dog first suffered from abscess and now after 2 months the same place is swollen again near neck i am scared about cancer plz answer me

Thanks for the pictures! At 5 months of age (nearly 6!) I doubt very seriously this is cancer, but if an abscess was in this location and is now back it suggests to me that whatever caused the abscess is still there. It's likely that he's going to need a bit of surgery to explore and drain the area. There may be some plant material or other foreign object stuck there, deep under the skin.

    I'm sorry Bruno keeps getting an abscess in the same spot. It can be do to a persistent foreign material in the area that needs to be removed, a mass, or a new injury. It could also be that the last infection wasn't completely healed. An examination of the area would be important. Your veterinarian may recommend a culture and biopsy to help determine the cause.
