My dog's nails are long and curling. Can she see a vet without records?

Hi. Any veterinary clinic will see her and trim her nails even if not up to.date on vacciens. She most likely will need antibiotics and pain medications as well. If there is question on vaccines, they can update them again if that helps them. And she probly is in pain if she is limping. Good luck.

Its impossible to know with out examining the quick of the nail. if the quick of the nail is cut, it will cause pain and bleed. I recommend to have the veterinarian cut the nails at least this one time since they are the best ones to know if there are concerns with the length of the quicks. They won't take Brent away and put you in jail for not clipping his nails! It sounds like he does need his nails clipped, and if you are having trouble doing it yourself, I would take him into the vet.
