Can I use a muzzle to train my dog to be alone? Is it safe?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 8 months old

Upto how many hours can we muzzle up dog to train him to be alone in the house with this kind of muzzle as shown in the attach photo? Does this can be life threatening? Can it block breath or anything serious may i k ow the timing hlurs upto which we can muzzle dog

I personally do not think muzzles should be used with out supervision. The muzzle can get caught on things and the pet can get stuck or worse. I would recommend trying to crate train if you want Bruno to be alone in the house. You can also try blocking him into only 1 room or area of the house. This type of a muzzle is called a basket muzzle and they can breath with it on. However again I would not recommend using it if no one is home
