My dog was running in the snow and started whimpering and favoring her back leg. Her thigh was twitching and hard but after massaging the area she's walking and putting some pressure but not a lot and she isn't whimpering when she extends the leg. Does it seem like it might be dislocated?

Poor Angel. I would recommend taking Angel to a vet as soon as possible. It is possible she has fractured/broken her leg, injured soft tissue or luxated her elbow. If it is swollen and painful she most likely needs an x-ray and pain medication to keep her comfortable. Hope that helps
