My dog is limping with a painful white bump on paw. What to do?

The 2 lumps either side of his penis look like normal nipples to be honest. This mark on the pad could be a reaction to a small wound or could be a growth in the skin. If the pup is lame on the leg I would have it checked tomorrow, otherwise monitor it or growth or change.

Do not give her any human pain medications, as many are toxic to dogs and can be fatal if given. Change in the bandage daily, and if she is still limping after 48 hours, or the bump gets bigger, have her seen by a vet.

Hello, thank you for using PetCoach. This looks to be a histiocytoma tumor which is a benign tumor commonly found on the limbs and face of dogs. It is a benign tumor that usually will regress on its own within a few weeks/months with no treatment. Of course, I am just guessing. Hello. It is very difficult to tell exactly what you are trying to show because of all the hair there. It does somewhat resemble a plantar wart, but I am afraid a hands on exam will probably necessary to truly identify what this is. You can try bandaging up the paw in essence creating a sneaker to protect the area, but do try to have this looked at in the near future in case additional treatment is necessary. I would recommend taking Maru to a veterinarian. It is hard to determine if that was a puncture wound, an abrasion from licking or a growth. After a physical examination, the veterinarian can determine if it is something to be concerned about. Until you can get Maru to a veterinarian I would recommend placing an Elizabethan collar on Maru to prevent him from licking at it.
