My dog was in the same room while painting wood with oil for wood, so I right now readed that fumes can harm dogs, can they really? If would harm her would symtoms be instant?

Hello, thank you for your question about Joshie.
If Joshie was only exposed to the fumes for a small amount of time while the painting was going on she should not experience any harmful side effects. Animals generally need to be exposed to very high concentrations of the fumes to experience toxicity.
