My dog hit her head. She seems fine now, but should I be worried?

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Female | unspayed | 3 lbs

My 3lb yorkie jumped out of my arms in our parking garage and hit her head on the cement. She was whimpering and had her eyes partly closed for a couple minutes after. Once I brought her inside she wasn’t as playful as usual and kind of just wanted to lay with me. I had to have my sister watch her while I went to an appointment and she says Daisy is acting fine but I’m still worried. I felt her all over after it happened and she didn’t act like anything hurt and she’s walking fine.

If Daisy is acting normal and is not showing any abnormal symptoms, then I would continue to monitor her for now. If she still seems depressed / lethargic, then I would recommend having a veterinarian examine her so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I recommend monitoring her for lethargy, reduced appetite or evidence of pain (yelping when jumping or running, being pet in certain areas, or overall reduced activity). My dog was hit by another dog. She seems fine, should I see a vet?

If Coco is otherwise normal and there is no indication she is experiencing any pain, no real need to rush off to the veterinarian. However, if you notice she is tender or painful to the touch on the side of the collision, is experiencing breathing abnormalities, becomes lethargic or has a sudden decrease in appetite, I would recommend bringing her in to see her veterinarian for an exam and perhaps x-rays. Poor Maggy! If she is behaving normally, and isn't showing any signs of abnormal behavior such as vomiting, difficulty walking, bleeding from the nose or ears, abnormal posture, or seizures, then she is likely just fine. If you do see any abnormal signs, I would be very concerned and have her seen by a right away. Hopefully, however, she didn't hit her head and she is ok. I hope this helps :-)
