My dog was hit by a remote. She yelped but seems fine. Should I worry?

If Daisy is acting normal and is not showing any abnormal symptoms, then I would continue to monitor her for now. Poor Maggy! If she is behaving normally, and isn't showing any signs of abnormal behavior such as vomiting, difficulty walking, bleeding from the nose or ears, abnormal posture, or seizures, then she is likely just fine. If you do see any abnormal signs, I would be very concerned and have her seen by a right away. Hopefully, however, she didn't hit her head and she is ok. I hope this helps :-)

If Coco is otherwise normal and there is no indication she is experiencing any pain, no real need to rush off to the veterinarian. However, if you notice she is tender or painful to the touch on the side of the collision, is experiencing breathing abnormalities, becomes lethargic or has a sudden decrease in appetite, I would recommend bringing her in to see her veterinarian for an exam and perhaps x-rays. Things to be concern about are crying in pain, excessive tiredness, not wanting to eat, etc. I wish you the best!

Hello. Make sure the color of her gums & mucous membranes keep a nice pink color. Observe her breathing at rest & while sleeping. If her respirations are 30 breaths per minute or less while she is sleeping, & her gums remain nice & pink, for the next 24 hours, she will be fine. It is difficult to know without an examination. If she is till acting abnormal then she should be examined and treated by a vet. Hopefully she is acting fine and has recovered. it would be a good idea to keep her off the couch so she can't injure herself again.
