Lately Lalya has been sleeping in between a small crevice between my wall and bed and also in the closet. She usually sleeps on her bed beside my side of the bed or in the bathroom since it is much cooler in there. She also has been air burying her food as well. She is still eating and drinking perfectly fine, but is this any cause for concern? Whenever we take her out she hops around like a puppy and wags her tail.

I would recommend taking lalya to a vet for a good exam. She is now an older dog and sometimes mild changes in behavior can be a result of underlying disease. A vet visit with some basic bloodwork would make sure nothing is going on inside of her which might be causing this behavior. It could also just be behavioral changes that she is more anxious or nervous so tight spaces make her more comfortable. You could try an adaptil collar. this is a dog pheromone that helps calms down dogs.
